We’re just two weeks away from kicking off the summer festival season down in Atlanta’s Central Park at the Shaky Beats Music Festival. The hybrid festival boasts of a lineup with an excellent mix of artists coming from all kinds of genre backgrounds like the quick witted rap style of Ludacris, to the hard hitting dubstep king Exicision, to the upbeat tropical house grooves of Kygo. At each stage themed after the famous streets of the city, fans will be able to experience both beloved favorites and up and coming producers. One of these artists that we are excited to see since their take off in France is Ofenbach.
The duo behind the name are Dorian Lo and César de Rummel, childhood friends who first fell in love with music when they started their own rock band. They held onto their original inspirations and fused that into their passion for deep house in 2014. Since then they have been highly requested to mix singles, appeared on festival players by Robin Schultz and Tiestö, and their biggest single “Be Mine” reached number four on iTunes Electronic Chart. Each track Lo and Rummel put out is an excellent combination of mellow electro sounds with that blues undertone that really sets them apart. Their newest track, “Party” vs Lack of Afro and Wax & Herbal T explores a funkier side to their deep house There is still so much to see from Ofenbach and we can’t wait to experience a full set.
Ofenbach will be playing at the Peachtree stage on Sunday and we highly recommend swinging by to let them carry you away with their unique take on deep house music. You can add them to your lineup on the Shaky Beats app, available for Android and iPhone. To prep for their set, check out our favorite tracks below.
