British Columbia’s infamous Shambhala Music Festival heads back to the Salmo River Ranch for its historic 21st edition. Ontario native REZZ and pioneering dance music trio The Glitch Mob have just been announced as the first headliners, with many more artists soon to follow suit. The festival is set to take place August 10-13, 2018 in the beautiful mountains of BC, Canada. More info on the lineup is in the works, but until then there’s plenty going on to get you hyped.
The festival has also launched “The Ultimate Shambhala Music Festival Experience Contest.” This will include flights, accommodations, tickets, merch, food vouchers, a stay at the Savoy Hotel in Nelson and many more perks. Two lucky winners will be chosen to win this exciting contest soon, so be sure to enter. The contest is now live on their Facebook page.
Shambhala Music Festival began in 1998 as a grassroots gathering of 500 people on founder Jimmy Bundschuh’s family farm. Since its inaugural year, the team has always put in immense effort to ensure that every single aspect of the festival is curated to the T, providing a healthy and sustainable environment for attendees to have the best possible experience. The proof is truly in the pudding, as Shambhala Music Festival has been going strong for over two decades now, with no signs of ever stopping.
Last year’s 2017 edition saw players like A-Trak, Adventure Club, Delta Heavy, Chris Lake, Destructo, Illenium, Jai Wolf, Herobust, and dozens more take to the stages set deep into the magical wooden landscape.
