Early this month, the ever-so-talented producer Shift K3Y made a massive return with his new single “Only You.” An inevitable dance floor anthem of 2018, the track has already amassed over 850,000 streams on Spotify in its first few weeks. Now, this Londoner is evoking all of the high energy and goodness of this massive song through its official music video.
Out not via Ultra Music and Columbia UK, the tune is brought to life through the alluring cityscape of Morocco’s Essaouira. Following a dancer through the streets of the city, the track’s hypnotic sound is emphasized by the video’s mesmerizing aesthetic of the gorgeous 18-century architecture and the dream-like quality desert shots.
For those of you who think you might not be familiar with Shift K3y, think again. Hands down, you’ll know more than a few of this Brit’s hits, like his remixes of Tinie Tempah’s “Trampoline” and AlunaGeorge’s “Attracting Flies,” along with his viral chart-toppers including “Touch,” “I Know,” and “Gone Missing” feat. BB Diamond. In 2016, Shift K3Y released his critically acclaimed full-length album, Nit3 Tales, that featured a host of major league artists including MNEK, MJ Cole, KStewart and Chris Lorenzo.
