Shoffy is officially 2 singles deep as he teases his upcoming album. First “Nightmares In NYC,” provided a taste of what to expect, now “Love Ya,” is the next extension in this journey. “Love Ya,” fills the listener with a positive feeling, the chipper melodic rhythm and seamless house percussion coming together to set a upbeat tone. The instrumental is a fitting accompaniment to the slightly rough, well-meaning vocal that Shoffy is putting out there. The drop hits smooth, increasing the energy a bit and bringing in more samples to heighten the melody that was previously introduced earlier. The single is a winner through and through, making it a more curious thing as to what the entire album will reveal.
Shoffy is LA-based where he sings, writes, and produces. Pop and electronic is his forte, which is showcased promptly via the singles he’s teasing off the album. The man is certainly catching attention of the right folks – Billboard, Clash, and Idolater have all support him. He’s found himself charting on the Billboard charts, top 40 radio, and Spotify viral charts as well, an all-around go-getter.
“This was a fun one to make. Upbeat dance/electronic vibes, and sort of a throwback to the dance stuff I grew up listening to. It’s really a feel good song to me, and I hope it just makes you want to dance and enjoy the carefree summer months. I wrote and produced this one – stoked how all the synth parts and chords came together.” – Shoffy
