Shreddie Mercury arrived on the scene last year after he beat out 2,500 other entries to win Zedd’s “Spectrum” remix contest. This remix of Blondfire’s “Walking With Giants” proves that it wasn’t some random occurrence.
The remix starts with the soft vocals of Blondfire and keyboard sound, before turning upside down into a dance floor banger. I love how Shreddie Mercury holds the drop at 2:50 and then immediately brings the bass back. It kind of reminds me of when Madeon did it last year at Ultra when he played his “Raise Your Weapon” remix.
With infectious electro-house style similar to TheFatRat, you can count on Shreddie Mercury to continue to rise on the charts this year.
Blondfire – Walking With The Giants (Original Mix)
Notes:
- Jonathan Kane (Shreddie Mercury) had been producing music for under a year when he won the Spectrum Contest.
- Blondfire are an alternative pop group made up of brother and sister.
- Catch the Driscoll family play a set at Firefly Music Festival.
- We didn’t use the track art because the biggest size was 400 x 400. What gives Warner Brothers?
