This remix is made of Black Matter and his budding side project with his friend Stanislav, who goes by Silver + Gold. The duo’s first remix is of Atari Teenage Riot – “We Are From The Internet.” It’s hard to put a fine line between genres these days, and Silver + Gold totally nailed genre fusion with their newest remix. Combining dark techno with electro that foreshadows the sinister-like vibes that are strangely, addictively refreshing.
“I’ve spent the last year working on a lot of new music with a lot of different sounds and styles. some of it is electro, some progressive, some more chill trap/hip hop, some i don’t even know what to call it. i’ve decided to not put any boundaries or limitations on what kind of music i make. as long as i like it and think it’s good then that’s good enough for me. i’m influenced by a lot of different styles of music, so why limit myself to trying to make one kind.”
