Six Feathers’ Winter Release Party came complete with bass heavy performances, a full show of their new fashion line, and all of the members of the Bass Family clan. The night was particularly special with the head designer of the brand, Scott Freeze, celebrating his birthday. The flock was strong, with the brand quickly selling out of their line while others filed onto the floor for some home-town Atlanta music.
The night was filled with local talent and each set brought something different to the stage. Some of our favorites were Vandal Rose and Dodgr, who teamed up to throw down some trap heavy dubstep to warm up the room. We then got to see Midnite Panda switching it up with adding in a live instrument element with hand drums. Eddie Gold soon took to the decks and got all of us raging on the floor. DJ Babey Drew switched it up and included the Mad Violinist with his performance, giving us a nice flow into a melodic dubstep feel.

The fashion show wasn’t your common strut down the runway, but rather a meticulously thought out presentation that encompassed Six Feathers’ overall aesthetic. Models began to make their way to the stage, with the screen behind them playing images of black birds taking to the air, fellow urbanites donning some of the most beloved pieces of the collection, and cityscapes that captured what makes Atlanta so iconic. The models joined each other one by one in a slow procession, giving viewers an intricate look at the sleek, city-inspired designs. The brand’s emblem blazed in the background as the music came to a rise and Scott joined the models for a final bow. The room was met with trickling white and black feathers that floated down into the crowd, creating a picturesque moment that is sure to stick with us.
