In the age of Kardashians and revolving-door pop musicians, ten years is an eternity. That’s a decade, folks; a collection of years long enough that it has its own distinct designation. So first and foremost, we here at White Raver Rafting would like to say congratulations to Steve Angello’s SIZE Records for ten years of big tunes and bigger shows.
Perhaps in celebration of this accomplishment, or perhaps to set the bar for the next ten years, SIZE is throwing quite the party this fall – and you’re invited. Set for September 27 and 28 in Central Park, New York City, “SIZE In The Park 2.0” is poised to outshine last year’s inaugural event from the get-go. The event will be expanded to two days and will feature performances from Angello (obviously), to-be-announced members of the SIZE artist family, and a bevy of special guests.
“But I don’t liiiiike the outdoors” you might be saying. “What if it rains? What if I get attacked by bees that become aggravated by Steve Angello’s larger-than-life house rhythms?” Fear not, for SIZE and international nightlife experts Provocateur have you covered (literally). Designed with style and comfort in mind – and for everyone, not just nature-phobes – Provocateur’s stage-front pop-up installation takes VIP to a whole new level. If you’ve got the extra cash to spend (or if you can con an early Christmas gift out of someone) there won’t be a better place to take in the show.
Whether you’re getting down with royalty or raging like peons in the back of the venue, SIZE In The Park 2.0 is already shaping up to be a marquee event this fall – and a perfect cure for post-Electric Zoo depression. Pre-sale tickets are slated to go on sale Friday, August 9 through the event’s official website, where additional event info will be posted as it becomes available.
After listening to Steve Angello’s set at Tomorrowland, there’s really no way you can turn down Size In The Park 2.0. That is unless you’re going already planning to go to TomorrowWorld which happens to take place the same weekend.
