Hot off of the release from the LEVELS Remix, Skrillex has just dropped this new track Breathe. Breathe seems to move away from the typical style that has launched Moore into superstardom, as it has a more slow build and progression than what you would normally expect.
Breathe removes the drawn out heavy bass lines and replaces them with smooth, creamy and mellow melodies of a dub-house nature. Still a signature Skrillex track but without any heavy drops, I think it represents the evolution of an artist as he looks to include new styles in his music.
Love him or hate him, Skrillex is the king of American dubstep and we’re still patiently waiting for his new album. Music Ninja.
