One of the most highly anticipated movies of the summer is around two weeks away from its official release. After debuting a previously unknown track at WAV nightclub in Atlantic City, Skrillex & Rick Ross have finally unleashed their official Suicide Squad track. As soon as the ID track surfaced from his April performance (4 months ago), fans were already left wondering if it was the long awaited Suicide Squad single. Just today, the track was officially released by Skrillex and Rick Ross.
The hip-hop EDM track is something we’d not usually expect from someone like Skrillex. However, Skrillex has never been contained to one specific genre in any of his productions. Rick Ross’ well known voice bursts out the Suicide Squad vocals leading up to a bass heavy drop that you know will fit the Suicide Squad soundtrack perfectly. This is rumored to be one of 14 tracks on the soundtrack with other performances by artists like Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, and Panic! At The Disco. Suicide Squad comes out August 5th, be sure to give it a watch and look out for this song.
Accompanying the song comes a 30 second music video teaser. It’s confirmed by Skrillex and Rick Ross that Jared Leto will be featured in the music video as The Joker.
