In a recent interview, rapper Riff Raff slipped up, telling MTV Australia that he and Skrillex produced a track together.
“Me and Skrillex have an album coming out. I mean we have a song coming out. Oh sh*t. That’s what I do when I speak too soon. I can’t tell you more than that. MTV exclusive!”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Sonny Moore (Skrillex) produce a track for an American rapper. Months back he teamed up with Asap Rocky, and I’m sure we can expect this rapper x edm producer trend to develop further and become a more common trend.
Riff Raff is a bi-product of Diplo’s Mad Decent label; The two are regularly working on new music together for future release.
