Mission Control: 3…2…1 Skylab 2012 ready for Blackout

On September 22nd the 10,000 patron capacity Denver Coliseum will be erupting with three stages launching endless bass, countless drops, and stunning laser displays. This anniversary party has been building upon itself for 18 years. Skylab 2012 will send dance music cadets into infinity and beyond.

BETA, Global Dance, and Triad Dragons have team up and selected some of the finest DJs/producers from around the world to lead this expedition through Skylab 2012: Blackout.  This year’s mission will feature a gravity-free audio and visual journey into the darkness of the deepest dubs from Borgore, Downlink, and the steady drumming behind DnB figure-head Andy C. The Ram Records founder is regarded as one of the greatest DJs to ever touch a turntable. MC Armanni Reign will be commanding the crowd into new aural atmospheres alongside his fellow dark-force dubstep warriors. Together Andy C, Downlink, and Armanii Reign make up the Bass Jump Tour, they will be smashing up DC on September 6th.

The blackout will also include an impressive crew of electro-house favorites like, ZEDD, Porter Robinson, Gareth Emery, Dragonm and Ecotek. After catching Ecotek’s set at Red Rocks, I was fired up by his mixing and eclectic track selection. Expect to see other talent like, Jontron, Kevin Alves, Trajikk, Fury, and more.
