Slander Joins the Monstercat Team with New Single “Happy Now”

The powerhouse duo act SLANDER first made headlines back in 2014 with their coined heaven trap, a blend between trance and trap.  After countless release after release, SLANDER has proven they are so much more than a singular genre. Their most recent addition to their list of tracks, “Happy Now,” has landed with Monstercat Records.

Originally started as a collaboration with San Holo, “Happy Now” has now been taken fully by SLANDER and turned into a dramatic and bittersweet ode to the good times of a broken relationship. SLANDER achieves this story of nostalgia with airy melodies that compliment the heavy basslines to create an overall emotive tone that will inspire you all.  The duality of the track creates a perfect balance, allowing bassheads to still dig the power of the track, while the gentle construction opens the door way for some new fans.
