SLANDER has been teasing a collaboration with YOOKiE for quite some time and while we’ve been given small tastes of what they’ve been working on it’s only been enough to keep us wanting more. We’ve loved SLANDER’s remix’s of “Mind” and “Let Me Love You,” and they’ve been killing it on their Gud Vibrations tour with NGHTMRE, but the most exciting part was this partnering with the NYC duo.
We’ve caught Christopher and Anthony at Camp Bisco, live streaming at TPA Studios and their remix of Black Tiger Sex Machine’s “Survivor” was a favorite of the remix EP so it’s no surprise that these two, with Jinzo, have released a track melding all five creative minds into one enjoyable track.
Released on Never Say Die Records the track features Jinzo’s soft vocals, piano riffs and that signature hard hitting sound we love YOOKiE for. This track might start out smooth, simple and light but quickly builds and drops into a dub-step, bass masterpiece capable of inducing plenty of head banging.
