Miami’s night club scene can overwhelm the uninitiated due to the seemingly endless amount of night clubs and venues which all regularly host top grade talent. While clubs like Story and Mansion attract megastar DJs and bottle crowds, smaller clubs garner the interest of diehard music fans and consistently host spectacular club nights.
Slap & Tickle, the name of the always-bouncing club night held every Tuesday at Bardot, recently won the award for “Miami’s Best Weekly Party” by Miami New Times. Slap & Tickle originally emerged from Electric Pickle due to the efforts of local DJs Pirate Stereo, Panic Bomber and Santiago Caballero and has recently celebrated its 2-year anniversary.
The award serves as a momentous occasion for a night which prides itself on disbanding all the rules and focusing upon music and the many Miami music-lovers. It will be interesting to see how the night upholds its reputation, especially given its history of boasting the likes of Duke Dumont, T. Williams, John Talabot, and more in the past few months.
The best part? Slap & Tickle is free of charge. Do not gloss over one of the best Miami weeklies around. Slap & Tickle is held every Tuesday night at Bardot.
