Out and about via Quality Goods Records this week is “Cups Up,” a brand new offering from Indonesian act Sliipow. Along with Detroit’s Langston Hues, the guys present something designed to get people’s attention.
Already a popular duo in South-East Asia, Sliipow’s powerful beats are beginning to move further afield. “Cups Up” is a creeping cut of trap – bringing in a taste of rap with Hues’ vocals and mixing up its rhythmicality for a jolting edge.
