Recently featured on Jack U’s new album, SNAILS, a Canadian bass artist, has single handedly created a new way to DJ. His mixture of everything heavy and weird, regardless of genre or tempo, has triggered a scene of followers mimicking similar patterns. Many got their first taste of this style through his milestone mix “SNAILED IT! Vol. 1 ‘Coming To America.'”
Before getting into details one thing needs to be said: Vol. 2 gets better.
SNAILS takes his signature creepy-cartoon-like, bass-heavy sound and warps it in as many ways imaginable. The mix has a dark sound that ties together the theme of the mix, but contains extremely epic levels of well-mixed and mastered bass sounds from various energy levels and speeds. A serious buffet of bass.
