Snails is unveiling the last part of his EP series Slime Time, the single “Everybody Move,” being the final chapter in what has been a successful spate all things considered. SNAILS is known for bringing the thunder when it comes to bass music that slaps above the rest. “Everybody Move,” falls under this umbrella precisely in terms of quality and impact. The single kicks off with haunting keys, screaming voices, and massive brass horns. The drum work captures all these parts and drives them forward toward the drop. About a minute in, the drop hits with a bumpy, slimy feeling slurred melody, which acts as the perfect pleasurable peak to the intense momentum building up to this release in the tension.
“Everybody Move is a song that goes way back to the OG SNAILS sound growl. It’s been such fun playing with old basslines of mine that I owed my vomit squad a song like that. I love the movement of the bass and the sub and it’s been something that I feel gives such a unique grooviness to the style of music. The hybrid genre of the track blending heavy hip-hop drums with horn melody added on top of that weird “snaily” synthesizer really brought back SNAILS original style from when I started.”
