Two Friends – Just A Kid (feat. Kevin Writer)
Kicking things off is Two Friends latest release “Just A Kid,” with Spinnin’ Records. This track seriously screamed an anthem with huge potential the first 20 seconds into it. While paying homage to our childhood and everything we reminisce on, it’s hard to not get nostalgic and connect with the lyrics on a deeper level. Make sure to tell your friends you found it here first, because this tune will surely make huge waves around the charts!
Le Youth – I Could Always (feat. MNDR)
“I Could Always” is a track that strikes a familiar vibe with you, while listening. While maintaing some serious synth pop vibes, you’ll get lost in the 80s feeling that has been making its’ comeback as of lately. MNDR helps lay down one dreamy top line that is hard to not get lost in. Le Youth deserves an ovation for the way he captures classic sounds and reboots them in a modern way.
Rynx – Want You (feat. Miranda Glory)
Rynx is a mysterious artist who recently came to light with their remix of They.’s “U-Rite,” which went on to garner over three million streams on SoundCloud alone. The producer is now here with their first original “Want You,” in which Miranda Glory helps out on with her flawless vocals. The vocal chops and chord progression help polish this track into a must listen.
Sj – Flicker (feat. Svrcina)
The LA-based songwriter and producer Sj has teamed up with Tritonal’s Enhanced Music to release “Flicker.” If you’ve ever been in a relationship and been through the trials it brings, then it will be easy for you to connect with this dance tune. You can expect a powerful drop that gets things moving as the bouncing bass line fills out your speakers and Svrcina’s vocals captivate you.
MARNIK – Burn (feat. Rookies)
MARNIK is an Italian duo who has perfected their dance production and gained the approval of the majors. Having a collab with Steve Aoki under your belt is also not bad. Teaming up with Universal Music Group, “Burn” is one smooth track that will leave you wanting more of their infectious sound. We also recommend checking out their amazing music video to this track here, which will surely light things up!
Lorde – Dynamite (Midnight Pool Party Remix)
Ending the year with a boom is Midnight Pool Party and their funky take on Lorde’s “Dynamite”. This Australian duo took the massive pop hit and turned it into one groovy tune that will be impossible to stand still to! Some might say it would be perfect for a swim with a gathering of friends in the middle of the night, but that’s just a rumor. All we know is this track has moving bass lines and dancing chords that compliment Lorde’s vocals perfectly.
Last Island – Don’t Change
Normally, I like to end the article with a dance track that is more chill. This week I was torn between two tunes and decided to throw both in, because they deserve the recognition. “Don’t Change” by Last Island is one chill instrumental that will give you some serious STRFKR vibes for all the listeners out there who enjoy getting lost in an addicting melody. This song will speak for itself with the lack of vocals!
Josh Jacobson – Upstate Soundtrack vol. 1
Lastly, we have Josh Jacobson closing us out with his double single Upstate Soundtrack vol. 1. If you needed some more chill tunes to get lost in then this will be the perfect way to unwind. “Fade” and “Koyo” feature melodies that will throw you into an atmosphere you won’t want to leave. Their jovial sounds will wash over and leave you feeling satisfied enough to hit the repeat button a few times; I know I did!
