There are few who are making a name for themselves quicker than Solstis, based in Chicago, Illinois. The duo have a specialty of not only transforming indie-downtempo tunes into future-esqe masterpieces and putting out their own originals earlier in their career, but also for creating synergy with live shows via a well-balanced delivery of smooth remixes of hit songs, their own stuff, and an overall dynamic set selection and order that forms a unique story every they play.
This Halloween, Solstis proved their unique elements they convey in the studio and club are connecting with fans; they sold out their first show in their home state of Illinois, headlining the event, and leaving the crowd wanting more.
Several days later, Solstis followed their live show sucess with an Atlantic Records-approved remix of Melanie Martinez’s “Soap.” The tune premiered on Trap Nation and garnered 100k plays on the first day.
This past summer, Solstis was hitting handfuls of shows and festivals, including successful sets at Electric Forest and Backwoods Music Festival, set’s that can still be heard and highly enjoyed.
