SoDown has returned to give us all the song of the summer and has confirmed that his love is here to stay in “My Love”, featuring the smooth and soulful vocals of Jonny Williams. Ahead of Big Dub Festival in Pennsylvania this year, the Boulder-based producer provided his fans with the perfect roadtrip track that attendees can listen to on the way to the event before catching his set there.
Starting off with a soft build up, Jonny Williams’s vocals create an atmospheric sound which compliments the catchy melody and lyrics. “My Love” exudes a mixture of soul, bass and classic funk before SoDown, in his attempt to transform how EDM is perceived, ends the song playing the saxophone, something is known for in his other tracks and sets.
After opening for Pretty Lights at Red Rocks and The Fillmore Detroit, The Floozies at Salvage Station, and Manic Focus at The Riviera Chicago, SoDown is getting his name out there. In 2018 alone, SoDown commanded stages at Coachella, Gem & Jam, Envision Music Festival, and most recently, Summer Camp Music Festival, so here’s definitely one to watch.
