Alex Sacco, and Doug Lyons, who together comprise the duo Sokko & Lyons have begun to establish themselves in the electronic music scene, with several of their latest releases having earned lauds from industry heavyweights, and having even received some airplay on Sirius XM’s “BPM” station. Much to the delight of fans, the duo has just dropped another striking tune in collaboration with Focus Fire, entitled “Dreamcatcher”, which features vocals from esteemed singer/songwriter/cover-artist, Dan Henig.
A grooving, and harmonious assemblage of funky rhythms and catchy melodies voiced in uplifting synths, “Dreamcatcher” is clearly representative of each artist’s distinctive style, and is complemented well by Dan’s silvery vocals. Dabbling in both the Tropical, and Deep House genres, this tune is undoubtedly a unique addition to the playlists of House music enthusiasts.
Despite the fact that they are now living in different states for school, Sokko & Lyons will definitely be ones to watch in the coming months with several new tracks on the way, as well as an upcoming tour which is scheduled to make several stops around the west of the United States.
