It’s no secret that, for many years, Colorado has been a mecca for electronic music, specifically the sub-genres of jamtronica and electo-soul. This June, the rocky mountain state will honor its love for the genre they helped cultivate by bringing back the Sonic Bloom festival to South Park, Colo. The event will be held at a new venue, American Safari Ranch, offering attendees a 360-degree view of the mountains, including the Continental Divide. Those who wish to gain the complete festival experience will also have the option to camp on the magnificent grounds.
The lineup features a remarkable list of both up-and-coming and legendary musicians, many of whom are Colorado natives. The presence of several members from Derek Vincent Smith’s Pretty Lights Music label is also significant feature on the lineup, with performances by Michal Menert, Supervision, Break Science, and Paul Basic. Additional acts sure to attract electronic music lovers around the world include Shpongle, The Polish Ambassador, Opiuo, and Tipper.
The event will run from June 19 to the 22, and will include live music, live painting, performance art, speakers and workshops. See the full lineup below and purchase your tickets here.
