Calvin Harris has only been dating British Singer Rita Ora for a few months now, but already there are reports coming out that he’s planning to propose. Although Rita Ora isn’t very fond of Calvin Harris’ music, she is very much in love with him having publicly talked about it to a crowd at one of her shows earlier this year. That’s what really counts.
A date hasn’t been set yet, but an insider told Look magazine that,
“When they’re together it’s a match made in heaven – they simply adore each other. They’ve only been dating for a few months but marriage is something they’re thinking and talking about. Calvin turns 30 in January and that’s a big milestone. I wouldn’t be surprised if he proposed.”
Previous speculation had Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris matched up, especially after their steamy on camera romance during the music video for “I Need Your Love”. By all accounts it seemed extremely real.
That assumption though couldn’t be further from the truth as Goulding has said that, “Me and Calvin are really good mates and I think him and Rita are really cute together.” She also added that if there was a wedding, she would be love to be the maid of honor.
Back in February Calvin Harris dated Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine’s ex-girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna, the Victoria’s Secret supermodel. He quickly moved onto Rita Ora though and the couple was first spotted together in the DJ booth during one of his performances at Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas.
Rita Ora previously dated Kim Kardashian’s younger brother Rob and went through a very public breakup when he accused her of cheating on him through Twitter. Ora is signed to Jay Z’s label Roc Nation, while Harris played at his Made In America festival this year. This may lead to even more power moves in the future.
