Spring Awakening Music Festival Announces Official DJ Competition & Silent Disco Lineup

Chicago’s very own Spring Awakening music festival is less than two months away and React Presents is back with more exciting festival announcements!

Spring Awakening music festival just announced the launch of their annual DJ remix competition.  DJ’s are invited to submit their very own rendition of  ZHU’s chilling recent release, “Nightcrawler”.  The winner will be granted a performance slot at the festival, as well as 3 VIP weekend passes.

The competition has already begun and submissions will be accepted until Monday, May 22 at 12 PM CST.  During this window, contestants will upload an original Soundcloud track using the Spring Awakening form.  The final step is getting your rave family and friends to vote for your masterpiece.  The ten candidates with the most votes will then be reviewed and chosen by SAMF judges.  Check out the complete set of rules here and enter for a chance to play alongside your favorite artists!

React Presents revealed another exciting announcement for SAMF attendees, the lineup for the Silent Disco stage.  The roster features 20 talented DJ’s from all spectrums of dance music including the bass-heavy duo Tombz and veteran DJ Chuck Diesel.
