The already stacked lineup for A State of Trance 850 just got a little bit better.
When W&W first came onto the scene ten years ago, the Dutch duo’s music was mainly trance based. Throughout the years, W&W refined and developed their sound. In the process it flirted with the line between trance and house and finally crossed it. Nowadays W&W is known more for their big room house tracks than for the genre they started out in.
NWYR is their way of getting back to their roots. After debuting at Ultra Music Festival in 2017, they have been touring the world and releasing emotional and melodic songs that call back to their earlier music. It’s evolution by retrospection. Their latest release Ends of Time includes emotional vocals and melodies that fits right into the trance sound and shows how committed they are to their new direction.
Lucky fans will be able to see this new sound firsthand in Sydney when Armin van Buuren and friends come to town for A State of Trance 850. The event will be held on Saturday, the 21st of April at the Sydney Showgrounds. Tickets are still available and can be found here.
