While the world slowly goes mad Tsuruda is in the studio. We can’t say he is staying sane there, but we’re loving the results of our collective insanity.
The world may be chaotic due to COVID, but this track is clear — it’s a fun banger starting very atmospherically with a thick lush chord. Then the bass drops after the classic Dub lyric “Bad Man” in a thick Rastafarian accent. The bass wubbles around before getting scratched about and the drums are knocking hard. This track brings us back to the days of blasting dub hard out of the trunks of cars.
We’ll soon be able to do that again when the quarantine is over, but until then, enjoy Tsuruda’s “War Heads.”
