Jack U? I don’t really feel like spending $172.30 to be on the floor of MSG. Disclosure? I love them but I’m going to need some more womps as we ring in the new year. We were undecided on where we wanted to spend our NYE given the surprisingly few amount of options in the New York City area this year. That’s why I nearly suffered a heart attack when I saw this announced last night.
Officially titled “Steal This Warehouse Party” and taking place in a TBA warehouse in Brooklyn, this has all the making for the sweaty, weird way I know we all want to welcome 2015 with. Already announced on the bill is a DJ set by Shpongle’s own Simon Posford, the future funky vibes of Phutureprimitive, the soul-shattering wobbles of Liquid Stranger, plus Kalya Scintilla, Kaminanda, and Ana Sia. Oh, and the co-headliner alongside Shpongle hasn’t been announced yet.
