There are few artist who are best described as “eclectic” but StéLouse easily earns the title, especially with the release of his latest EP “The City.” The EP combines elements of trap, new wave, electro and more with a layer of 80’s instrumentals.
Starting off, your caught off-guard with the amount of energy “T-Shirt” puts out, particularity toward the end, seriously it gets huge. “Sixteen” brilliantly shows off StéLouses ability to blend the best 80’s vibes with today’s music style. The third track “Joyride,” which was previously featured on WRR, has an all-Trap sound with clever vocal samples and a beautiful melody. The finale “The City” encompasses all the vibes and themes of the last 3 tracks into one epic ending, making the experience in “The City” one you won’t soon forget.
