Australia’s traveling music festival Stereosonic saw it’s pre-sale tickets go in just a number of minutes. The sellout was expected as the festival features some of the biggest names in dance music including David Guetta, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Calvin Harris, Alesso (listen to his Tomorrowland Set), Axwell, Dog Blood, Zedd, Tommy Trash and UZ. Stereosonic switched to the two-day format this year and it’s a large undertaking considering the dates are closely cramped with multiple festivals occurring the same exact time. Having a festival in both Sydney and Perth the same weekend may have saved them money booking artists that can play a set at both festival while they are in Australia.
Tickets to the festival go on sale through Ticketmaster this Thursday.
