Kasper Nilsson, known by his artist name Stripess, recently put out a banger of a track. This under the radar release was only happened upon by chance but we’re eager to hear more. It starts slowly, setting its tone. Soon, however, it evolves said tone. It brings up nostalgia heavily with its emphasis on old-school house and disco. Playing with elements of soul, yet, the overall composition subverts this expectation with long elements of world-building and rest.
Reminding us both to rest, and reflect, this track is exactly what we need right now. Life is a marathon and not a 50-yard dash.
