STS9 has torn up the live circuits for over a decade; however, their recent tour throughout the first half of 2013 was their first coast-to-coast tour in over two years. The group had such a great time during the tour that they compiled three hours of live cuts from the tour into a mix, entitled “Solstice”. Featuring newer released songs and tribe classics, the “Solstice” mix will be a great listen for newcomers and seasoned fans alike.
I was fortunate enough to catch STS9 during their tour at the famous Orange Peel venue in Asheville, North Carolina and I can attest to the fact that they really tore up stops on this 2013 tour. For a band that is virtually always touring, STS9 puts on an amazing show night after night and keeps up the high energy, with this collection of performances epitomizing that. They’re fusion of electronica with so many other genres is just incredibly unique and meant for live viewing. Luckily, they’ve released the entire mix for a free download.
