As one half of Galantis, Linus Eklow has received his fair amount of praise and recognition. What many do not know, however, is he also produces under the alias Style of Eye. Using this moniker the Swedish producer has released one acclaimed music video for track “Kids,” and last Wednesday he premiered his second video for “The Game,” featuring SAL, on MTV US and UK. Using a robotic voice to narrate the song’s lyrics, “The Game” features a high-speed chase between several individuals remotely controlled by a tattooed man playing a video game in his living room. It’s hard to interpret exactly what the video means, but the suspenseful plot and meticulous cinematography are plenty to keep you engaged from start to finish. A force to be reckoned, Eklow is approaching the EDM scene from every angle, separating himself from other DJs by thinking outside of the box. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us next.
