One of SUBMERSIVE’s goal with “Ready” was to tie the ability of trance music to make humans feel out their animalistic, instinctual roots. Given “Ready” has these massive drums layered onto a trance drop and melody, I can see what he meant here. A few moments later, in the second drop, SUBMERSIVE picks up the pace, adding an extra level of epicness to take the tune to the next level.
Another quote from Clayton, aka SUBMERSIVE, supporting his musical goals: “The goal of my music is to give people a transcendent experience in a musical environment,” he’s certainly done this with “Ready”.
