Summer Camp Music Festival went all out with their second artist announcement. If you thought they were done, however, you are happily mistaken. Summer Camp recently announced a third round of artists as well as their lineup for the Red Barn late night.
The final artist announcement has some great names from the electronic scene. Liquid Stranger, Goldfish, Break Science, and Styles and Complete will add to an already diverse lineup of Bass and electronic music. For the Jam/Funk/Reggae fans, Summer Camp was able to land Bob Marley’s former band, The Wailers, as well as The Nth Power. Those fans will also want to have Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on their list of bands to see; a high energy funk band from Baltimore that has been tearing up the festival scene lately.
This brings us to the Red Barn late night shows. This year has some of the best collaborations we’ve seen, as well as artists that will put on big sets. Friday will be the day to go to with the super group of Tauking McGee (TAUK and Umphrey’s McGee) and a very special set from Eoto with Keller Williams. Saturday will feature electro-indie artists Cherub opening for beloved Lotus. Sunday will be a great end to the weekend with Yonder Mountain String Band and Hard Working Americans (although not pictured here) closing out the Red Barn. These announcements are the icing on the cake to what will be the best start you could have to your festival season.
