Japanese born singer, songwriter, and producer MYLK is back with another original release. Dubbed as “Jersey Club” the fast paced, upbeat track is everything we could have hoped for in a time when London and Manchester need all the love possible. Real name Yuki, MYLK is currently based in Manchester and it’s clear the recent tragedies hit close to home. “Unite” is MYLK’s latest creation aimed at supporting the victims of the terror attacks in addition to reminding us that we’re all human no matter our race, religion, or ethnicity. Here’s what MYLK had to say about her latest release.
I live in Manchester and following previous and recent terror attacks, people seem to still discriminate others for the colour of their skin or their religion especially on social media. I made this track to let us all remember that we’re all in this together no matter what.
Give “Unite” a listen and stand with MYLK against discrimination. You can support the victims of the Manchester attack by clicking here. Additionally, you can support the UK Solidarity fund by clicking here.
