If you thought electronic music couldn’t have soul, then you haven’t listened to SwAy or Wildabeast. With Wildabeast’s live horn section and SwAy’s electrosoul from Canada, this EP was bound to happen.
“Crossing Borders” is a three track EP that paints a story about relationships, hardships, and triumphs. It kicks off with “Cuz I Need You Baby” and brings the funk, as well chill vocals and great horns. The EP then continues to “On My Mind” with a groovy bass line that will keep you moving. The last track, “Peace Offering,” ends the EP perfectly, with a more upbeat tempo and a theme of making amends. This collaboration has the perfect touch of electronic for any jazz fan!
