Swedish House Mafia – Madison Square Garden [FULL SET]

Swedish House Mafia made electronic dance music history last night as they were the first edm act to headline and sell out the notorious Madison Square Garden. Thousands of fans flocked to the venue to hear their favorite tracks from Axwell, Ingrosso and Steve Angello.

If you weren’t one of the 20,000 people who scooped up the tickets that were sold in under 10 minutes (asshole scalpers), you could have caught the set through the live stream. I tuned in for a little while and was really impressed by the visuals and overall production.

That said, I don’t think that traditional venues are made for electronic acts of this size. We didn’t start in traditional places and there’s no reason to go there now. The offerings at Madison Square Garden while impressive, do not begin to compare to what is available at Electric Daisy Carnival or Ultra Music Festival.
