The Sweetlife Festival presented by Sweetgreen will return to Merriweather Post Pavilion on May 11, 2013 and feature headliners Phoenix, Kendrick Lamar, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Passion Pit, Solange, Youth Lagoon, Holy Ghost! MS MR and more. So pretty much it’s everyone who you’d want to see at Coachella, minus a few indie bands that you can catch on tour at a hipster city near you.
Sweetlife did an excellent job this year of gathering some of the most exciting alternative / indie rock bands. I imagine that the festival would have sold out if just Phoenix was on the bill, but adding Kendrick Lamar, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Passion Pit make this a not miss and continue to solidify the niche festival as one of the most popular on the East Coast.
Not to mention Merriweather Post Pavilion is a stunning venue, you should definitely plan on attending in May.
