A little funk, a little future bass, and perhaps a hint of Jersey club too? That’s what is SWRVN and Razz are dishing out with their latest original “Right Back.” One of many unique elements that jump out at me with this one is the melody and bass carrying the rhythm of the track, trading off this role, and re-syncing up melodically as well, all at different time periods within the track.
The vocal sample is the icing on the cake with “Right Back,” giving it the perfect amount of soul to it’s relatively poppy core. This is a tune that you hear/learn something new with each passing listen. SWRVN and Razz definitely achieved combining the best of both their styles with this one.
