This May, Spinnin’ Records opened its renewed, interactive Talent Pool. This is an innovated version of the application that started in 2012, where beginning producers got the opportunity to share their musical creations with the world, by uploading their brand new tracks on a Facebook application. This year Talent Pool was brought to a new level, by the development of the application to the official website of Spinnin’ Records. The website provides a faster, easier and a more efficient way for the users to share the music experience. Everybody can create a free account and collect votes and points to reach the charts and Spinnin’s A&R will check out the creations on a daily basis, providing the producers with feedback.
Spinnin’ Records created a new feature for the website: Talent Pool official remix contests, of which the first one is live right now. The innovated Talent Pool plans to develop multiple additional features to the last version, including special competitions and an extended rewarding system. This contest is the first feature and by this, the fresh producers get the opportunity to remix existing popular singles into something of their own.
Thousands of contestants take place in the first contest and famous music producer KSHMR has agreed his brand new single ‘Jammu’ to be the one to remix. Like the whole Talent Pool, this contest could be the one time opportunity for the contestants to show their skills and the prices for the winning producers are outstanding. The best remix wins a collab with KSHMR and production packages, including the newest soft- and hardware, will be second and third prices.
