Techno can often be regarded as a collection of soothing beats, consistent basslines, and clever use of reverb. However, one must not forget that the genre can range quite a bit. Between differing BPM’s, styles and musical devices employed, there can exist a vast number of sub categories spawning a unique spectrum of feelings and grooves. To illustrate this theory, we’re going to deviate from the usual calming classics to showcase the more aggressive tendencies of European techno. Episode 10 of TTO will revive that burning in your soul that dares to walk on the wild side. We’re ready for the hard stuff – let’s TechThisOut!
1. Digitalism – Roller
