Teddy Killerz have been in the bass music game for quite some time, their unique bass music sound making it’s way into dozens – if not hundreds – of DJ’s sets big and small around the world. With their first releases dating back to 2021, their Dangerous Levels EP shows just how strong, in-tune with the scene, and on point they are are musicians. Dangerous Levels EP is made up of two-tracks “Hot,” and title track “Dangerous Levels.”
“Hot,” is in collaboration with another staple bass artist: Protohype. The song brings together the best parts of both of their styles, featuring an infectious arrangement, mouth-watering drops, and catch samples that hit the spot. Melodic synth work provides a break from the hard-hitting moments, the blend of dark and vivid elements playing as a strength within this track.
“Dangerous Levels,” is an original which is the final track on the EP. This one showcases Teddy Killerz solely and get’s even more dark and epic than the track before. Right as the 50s mark hits, they lead things into a stomach-churning drop. Weird and wonky, but properly done all things considered, the track features everything from moombahton-influenced percussion work to just an all around great theme.
The single is signed to Underdog Records, founded and operated by Protohype himself. The label is a platform to showcasemainstays like Teddy Killerz alongside up-and-comers who are pushing out hot righteous sounds.
