Every year right before festival season, we start checking all of our favorite go to rave gear sites for new ideas. Something about brightly colored, flashy clothing gets me super excited for festival season. I decided to help the ravers out and go concoct a list of our favorite fashion trends of 2017.
1.Mesh
I am going to start with my personal favorite trend for 2017, Mesh! You have the feeling of being covered, but with the ability to still show a little skin. The fact that this trend is unisex is also a bonus. The above picture is from iheartraves.com. The iheartraves team has developed plenty of options for this mesh trend, but how can you beat the bright colors of the rainbow tie dye.
2. Vinyl
When vinyl first appeared in the newest trends for 2017 I checked the calendar to see if we were transported back to the 90’s. I have to admit though this trend is slowly but surely growing on me.
The above vinyl skirt again is another way to show off, but still feel covered not to mention the adorable holographic details. Little Black Diamond is the producer of the above skirt, and I highly recommend checking out some of their other products.
3.LED Shirts
Guys have always had very limited options in fashion. Fortunately as the years go by technology keeps improving, and with that being said we could not help but include the LED shirt. The sound reactive shirt is the only thing everyone’s eyes will be fixated on during the rave. The above shirt is apart of a collection of sound reactive shirts from EmazingLights. 4.Printed Crystals/Geodes
I know what you are thinking people have been wearing rocks, crystals, and geodes around their neck to festivals for a few years now. I think that screen print crystals are a fresh take on this go to festival choice. The blend of heady and rave fashion is a great way to crossover fashions. 5.Hydration Packs
So something that is always in style is staying hydrated, and keeping those around you hydrated as well. No reason you can’t keep hydrated in style Vibedration makes that a possibility! Not only does Vibedration offer four different sizes they also have multiple colors and patterns. I personally own the trippy pizza pack that almost always makes me crave pizza.
6. Colorful Sunnies
Not only is this fashion trend adorable, but it is very fairly priced. You will not have any metal digging into your nose, and if you were to lose them you are not taking a huge hit to your wallet. I only bring things to festivals that I understand might get lost. I found these sunnies on Amazon for 20$ including shipping. When I walked into the pool area wearing these I had to order three more pairs for my friends who could not get over them.
7. Capes
If you have ever watched The Incredibles you know the last thing a superhero needs is a cape. Fortunately this does not apply to raves! So cape it up ravers in this super cute fashion trend that is brought to us by the one and only iheartraves.com . You can feel like a magical rave sorcerer while you throw down to your favorite DJ.
8.Bedazzled Fishnets
Bedazzled Fishnets bring a whole new dimension to the the Plurmaid and Unicorn fashion trend. A designer on Etsy who goes by LirikaMatoshi has created these beautiful works of art using vinyl holographic flowers. With a little creativity you might be able to DIY a version of these fishnets which sounds like a fun craft day with friends.
9. Beaded Bodysuits
So bodysuits have been a trend for while now, but the revamped beaded and cut out trends that have been hitting the market make my pupils turn into little hearts when I see them. The one featured above is from DollsKill.com and although it is a little pricey the quality and material is oh so worth the money. I have a feeling bodysuits will stick around due to their versatility I am just looking forward to seeing how they will evolve.
10. Magical Backpacks
You will always be able to go hands free with this awesome fashion trend. I have seen packs with wings, holographic designs, and reversible sequins that have filled me with envy. The pack above is featured on DollsKill.com
