Capturing a pure, mystical corner of the house world is The Archer in “Norther Star.” The vibes are 100% on point from start to finish as the soft percussion, arpeggio-laden synths, and lots of added effects incircle the brain in a concise, harmonious pattern. The end-impression the listener is left with is something that is freeing, giving a dose of relaxation and therapy each time the track is heard. The single would fit brilliantly into any progressive / deep house set or provide that needed break in tension of sets from a wide variety of genres.
The Archer has had some stunning successes within this spectrum of this alias and, in particular, his label. There Is A Light was founded last January, the first release being the Lonely Dream EP, a release of his, which was a well-received debut. From there, his commitment to straight forward A&R has been one of several pillars as to why the label has seen growth, has been able to be a platform to many well known talents, and the like.
