Electronic music has gathered Hollywood’s attention since approximately 2012 when realization hit that EDM was here for the long run. TheDropFilm.com aims to capture EDM’s “transition from an underground movement to a mainstream juggernaut” through their yet-to-be-released documentary film.
“The Drop is a documentary film exploring this cultural phenomenon. From the artists to the fans, as well as the growing festival industry, the Drop will follow all aspects of the growth of a genre of music that is defining today’s generation.”
The official website has yet to share any footage other than an Infected Mushroom live set in NYC, more updates will be posted as they come.
