Last year, we sat down with the innovators of Festiie to pick their brain about a product that we believe will change the festival game (check out the interview here). Festiie is a festival smartband and app that works over an one mile range (fun fact: most music festivals including camping do not span over one mile in length) without phone service, data, or WiFi that helps keep festival goers connected. The app is connected via bluetooth to your wristband and an LED compass with help lead you to your fellow Festiie besties.
What seems to be a common theme across many music festivals is losing your friends and not being able to reunite because of the lack of service at most festivals. This is where Festiie comes in and saves the day. The functionality of the smartband/app combo has been through many trials over the last 2 1/2 years and has passed with flying colors. The smartband is officially available for pre-launch to Festiie exclusive email subscribers, which you can sign up for here. Festiie subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase a pair of Festiie smartbands for $139 for a week, or until supplies last. Once the product is open to the general public, single unit Festiies, as well as packs of 5, 10, and 25 will be available for purchase. The smartband comes in exclusive styles such as Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver. Shipping of the smartbands is estimated to begin in early 2019, just in time for next year’s festival season.
