“Harlem Shake” going viral and being turned into a legendary internet MEME further solidifies the trap music genre by exposing it to mainstream popular culture. Everyone who hasn’t heard of trap music will just from watching these videos. Expect pop music to follow what artists like Baauer, Flosstradamus and Diplo have built.
