There have been big changes with The M Machine in the past few months. After Andy Coenen decided to leave the trio in January, Ben “Swardy” Swardlick & Eric Luttrell were left to run the show amongst a tour for their new EP that was getting mixed reviews from fans.
Their latest EP Just Like which was released in November 2014 with mixed reviews. Some asked the question that some of deep sounds incorporated in the five track EP was due to them joining the deep house hype train. When questioned recently about this, The M Machine went on to say:
The short of it is, there is new sound about to come from The M Machine. Innovation and progression is never a bad thing.
But for now, The M Machine has dropped us with six unreleased tracks that were used throughout their Metropolis tour. They are electronica infused greatness, that old time fans will recognize easily. And oh yeah, they’re free. So enjoy the tracks, and hopefully they can hold us over until the new album drops. We can’t be more excited.
