Close friends and the two members that make of this group, Sutton Place, are back at it again and have created a winner of an experience in “The Prince of Broadway.” They have a total of 4 songs that make up their catalog, gradually laying down the groundwork of a sustainable alias that they are highly passionate about.
“The Prince of Broadway,” is their next focus in terms of musical releases, showcasing both sonic elements that, when listening back, has familiar aspects to it compared to past releases, but still stands on it’s own two feet all the way.
It’s not just in the studio that Sutton Place is making strides, they are also being booked as openers for names such as Solardo and Golden Features, a milestone in itself and a great addition to a solid mix of accolades.
“The Prince of Broadway” builds on the momentum of previous singles like “Street Clothes,” taking their sound one step further by offering a gritty, house-fueled track bursting with energy. “The Prince of Broadway” marries the deeper and more melodic sounds they’ve become known for with high voltage, Justice-esque sampling that results in a sizzling tune ready to light up any club.
“The Prince of Broadway” was inspired during one of our weekly writing sessions on zoom. We were discussing pushing the envelope to be unique and were inspired by the current wave of tech house tracks to make something that would thrive in a club. Following our call we both went our separate ways to try and bring this idea to fruition and were able to with an old school twist. The simplicity of the bass, stab, and vocal helped push the track and bring a feeling as if you “owned the block” or as we call it “The Prince of Broadway”.

Dana and Nick are the two names that make up Sutton Place. They’ve been friends since high school, but it was the COVID era that brought them together in a way that had never happened before. They truly went all in, and “Footsteps,” was the first single that came from the Sutton Place project, from this moment, there was no looking back, their efforts and determination leading them to this time and day in their life where “The Prince of Broadway,” has been brought to the masses.
